Study of main constitutional and institutional frameworks, forces and factors influencing Canadian foreign policy. Canada's role in international organizations such as NATO, the UN, and the Francophonie. Canadian relations with North American governments and social/economic actors (Mexico and USA). Major issues in North American politics, including trade agreements, continental security, democracy, and the possibility of a North American political community. (INT/CAN)
