TMM 4922 Special topics in Epidemiology

Introduction to the field of epidemiology, including measures of disease frequency and association, epidemiologic study designs, concepts of causal inference, and sources of bias in epidemiologic studies. Students will be exposed to examples of epidemiologic research and will learn the fundamentals of critical appraisal. The course will be a combination of lectures, class activities, presentations, and written work.
