Faculty of Social Sciences
What is the role of intentionality in social action? The course covers the different sociological theories that allow us to understand the issues related to the construction of the subject and meaning in sociology. The principles of comprehensive sociology and its derivations (including the role of culture, religion and politics in movements and institutions) are studied. It also examines approaches that focus on social interaction, theoretical currents devoted to the sociology of the individual, and methodological perspectives that are inseparable from these theoretical perspectives. The relationships between these theories, including the tensions, conflicts and exclusions they generate.
