Sleep and dreams in the context of physiology and psychological adaptation. Functions of sleep. Sleep disorders and their treatment. Theories of dream functions. Dreams, health, personality and consciousness. Course includes laboratory activities (e.g., sleep-lab experiment or dream analysis lab).
