Analysis of the main concepts of feminist political thought as a method of analysing the impact of gender on political and social thought. Diversity of perspectives in feminist political thought. Origins and key debates (e.g. nature of patriarchy, women's human rights, conceptions of women in traditional political thought). Feminist analyses of other systems of power and oppression (e.g. racism, homophobia, class oppression). (PPT)
