Examination of the underlying theories and logics that guide political discourses and actions of Indigenous peoples in Canada and beyond. Topics can include: critique of colonialism from first contact to present day; Indigenous critical theory; identity politics; traditional ecological knowledges; nationalism; resistance and resurgence; decolonization.
