PHY 2900 X - Creative Projects

Students will propose and develop a project of their own design. Emphasis will be placed on the creative and iterative process of project development and prototyping. Students will learn skills in project design, execution and management, as well as hands-on experience with microcontrollers, coding, simple circuit design, sensors, rapid prototyping, 3D modelling, and digital fabrication technologies such as 3D printers and laser cutters.

Prerequisites: ( MAT 1320 or MAT 1321 or MAT 1327 or MAT 1330 ), ( PHY 1121 or PHY 1122 or PHY 1124 or PHY 1321 or PHY 1322 or PHY 1331 ). Limited enrolment.
