MBA 5258 Economics for the Global Manager I

This course will introduce students to the concepts, theories, data and other ideas related to macroeconomics. Topics to be covered include: components of the economy, international trade, labour and unemployment, money and the financial system, business cycles, and investment and innovation. Students will learn to use economic data to make managerial decisions and develop an appreciation of managers' roles within the economic system.
