HSS 3305 Pathophysiology of Health Problems

Analysis and integration of concepts related to the pathology of acute, degenerative and chronic health problems using a system approach. Major diseases including cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and neurological disorders will be examined. Interdisciplinary discussions of disease risk factors. Health professions involved in the treatment, study and regulation of disease will be identified.
