Examination of theoretical and empirical questions raised by feminists in a transnational context. Analysis of the emergence of women's organizing across borders. Highlights the complex connections between women in the Global North and the Global South. Topics might include: gender and the environment, militarism and war; production and reproduction; migrant rights and human rights; women's health; sex trafficking and sexualities.
