Explorations of Indigenous feminisms in contemporary and historical contexts, emphasizing tensions between feminist and indigenous epistemologies. Topics include indigneous futurities, the intersection of gender and colonization, concepts of sovereignity and resistance, violence against indigenous women, indigenous ontologies and methodologies, two-spirit identities and social movements.
