This course is designed to introduce students to the basics of the teaching profession. This course will enable students to better grasp the close link between the learner, knowledge and the teacher: the pedagogical relationship. More specifically, through this course, students will learn more about the Franco-Ontarian school system, the organization and structure of the various school boards, French-language education in a minority context, and the art and science of teaching. This exclusively online course is structured so that each student is at the center of their learning. It is organized in such a way as to allow students to build on their knowledge and explore fundamental notions in education through group discussions, readings, collaborative workshops and in-class practical work.
