ECO 4192 Research Seminar in Economics of Natural Resources and Sustainability

Students undertake a research project in the field of natural resource economics and sustainable development, focusing on a current policy problem. Students must submit a written report and orally present the results of their research in a simulated conference setting. Topics include: management of renewable resource stocks; management of non-renewable resources; energy; intergenerational equity; and effect of property rights on resource management.

Prerequisites: ECO 2145 , ( ECO 2151 or MAT 3375 ). Course reserved for students enrolled in the Major, Joint Honours, and Honours in Economics.
