Seminar course designed to introduce students to the issues, theories and practice of development economics. The focus will be on current empirical or theoretical research on topics relevant to economic development. Examples of topics include education, health, institutions, financial markets, technology adoption, gender issues, crime and conflict, environment and natural resources, and development aid.
