Analysis of the goods market, the financial market and the labour market. Understanding economic fluctuations in a closed economy and in an open economy. The determination of aggregate production, interest rates, exchange rates, investment, consumption and the trade balance in the short and medium run. The impact of fiscal and monetary policies. The relation between inflation and unemployment.
