Theories and concepts, research and practice related to health communication and its various contexts: interpersonal communication, organizational communication, public relations, and mass (mediated) communication. Topics may include patient-healthcare provider interaction, social support, cultural constructions of health and illness, telemedecine, illness prevention and health promotion campaigns.
