ART 3927 Relational Sculpture

Exploration of contemporary sculpture and its animation through active strategies (e.g.: relational aesthetics, performance and other social practices). Alteration of the material qualities of sculpture and installation. Creation of objects, spaces and the social interactions. Methods of documenting performative sculpture. Teaching and discussion take place in the two official languages. Recommended minimum language skills include the ability to understand, read and interact orally in class in your second official language. (P)

Prerequisites: ART 1321 , 6 course units from ( ART 1311 , ART 1331 , ART 1341 ). Reserved for students registered in the Bachelor of Fine Arts or in the Major in Visual Arts.
