ART 2951 Drawing I: Materiality and Process

Development of the physical characteristics of drawing and of diverse drawing practices, through the use of various materials, tools and processes, including non-traditional drawing materials and mixed media. Introduction to various supports, grounds, mediums and techniques related to mark-making and image. Teaching and discussion take place in the two official languages. Recommended minimum language skills include the ability to understand, read and interact orally in class in your second official language. (P)

Prerequisites: ART 1311 , 6 course units from ( ART 1321 , ART 1331 , ART 1341 ). Reserved for students registered in the Bachelor of Fine Arts or in the Major in Visual Arts.
