ART 2943 Synthetic Art: Computer Generated Sound and Image

This course provides practical and critical foundations in the production of computer generated art works. Students will explore fundamental concepts for creation with specialized software and build a foundation for working in synthetic 3D space, artificial light, material representations and digital sound. Class projects may be focused around Virtual Reality and Augmented/Mixed/Extended Reality, 3D modeling, creative coding and/or generative software.
