ART 2942 Lively Spaces and Objects: Fundamentals of Interactivity

Introduces key concepts and issues central to creating interactive and/or participatory projects. Students will explore fundamental ideas of participation and interactivity in creative projects both in contemporary art and other creative disciplines. Foundational skills are built in electronic and digital technologies, as well as artistic strategies and techniques, that can enable participation and interactivity. Students will design and implement personal creative projects that may involve interactions between the artist, audience, objects, light, image or sound.
