ART 2914 Painting and Image II: Motif and Metaphor

The construction of the image; development of meaning from the motif. Image as conveyor of metaphor. Development of a vocabulary of image and motif from various sources, including personal experience and observation, and from the imagined. Teaching and discussion take place in the two official languages. Recommended minimum language skills include the ability to understand, read and interact orally in class in your second official language. (P)
