Introduction to the economic analysis of developing countries. The course addresses the different tools used to measure and analyze economic development as well as the obstacles to inclusive growth and sustainable development from the perspective of developing countries. Issue areas considered include human, economic and sustainable development, population growth, human capital, international trade, international financial flows, macro-economic policy and facilitating institutions.
