Influence of the environment on work and exercise performance from the point of view of homeostatic control. Discussion and practical, laboratory observation of fundamental control theory particularly as it applies to homeostasis in the human organism. Specific environmental conditions discussed will include hyperbaria (diving), hypobaria (altitude), hyperthermic (hot) hypothermic (cold), hypergravitative (terrestrial acceleration) and hypogravitative (space flight).
