An introduction to management consulting, with a focus on the five-phase consulting process. An understanding of how to build client relationships and undertake stakeholder consultations. Numerous examples and case studies illustrating the consulting process. An overview of the consulting industry, including the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation. An examination of the three consulting firm structure types and their business models. The course integrates critical thinking and analytical skills and prepares students to undertake future consulting projects and a career in management consulting.
